Biterna: hell arrives in Casafont
The new formation of trash metal Biterna, has recorded a demo at Casafont studio. The songs are all that can be expected of the genre: high rhythmic doses with ripped voice, double bass drum and guitar distortion galore, as well as some amazing tribal touch.
Biterna is formed by Oriol Prat (vocals), Jordi Jové (drums) —two ex-members of Defekació— , and Joan López (guitar) and Albert Higuero (bass).
We leave here two audio samples, courtesy of Biterna. Click the player to listen to them.

Roger Mas records his new album at Casafont
The songwriter Roger Mas has come to Casafont recording studio to record his new album.
The new project has a few style surprises typical of its chamaleonus nature. The recording sessions are full of very good vibrations. The album name will be A la casa d’enlloc and is expected to be ready for spring 2010.
Find out more about Roger Mas at Roger Mas’ official website, his Facebook and his Myspace.
Casafont expands its equipment
Casafont recording studio has expanded its equipment with:
- a Millennia Origin STT-1 recording channel, which provides the ability to combine solid state technology with valves,
- an Avalon 737sp recording channel; a classic among the valve recording channels,
- 8 Solid State Logic VHD Pre channels; the best solid state SSL technology with the VHD (Variable Harmonic Drive) preamplifiers,
We have also incorporated a multipolar pattern condenser microphone AKG C-414, a BSS AR133 DI and Klot cables for recording instruments.
On the other hand, Casafont has acquired a Nintendo Wii (for the moments of leisure between recording sessions ;=).
